About IndiaBana
IndiaBana is a platform that highlights people who are building, making, and creating in India today. From independent designers and small brands to local makers and entrepreneurs, our goal is to bring attention to the creativity and effort shaping modern India.
The name IndiaBana has a few layers. It echoes the Hindi phrase “India bana” — meaning “Made in India” or “India built.” It also reads as a statement of identity — what it means to be Indian now. And it can be read as a hortatory call: “India, bana!” — a gentle push to makers and builders to keep creating and improving the country through their work.
We believe there’s real value in stories that come from the ground up — ideas born here, made here, and meant for here. IndiaBana is our way of giving those voices and ventures a place to be seen, heard, and appreciated.
